Ralph Allen Hardwick

Feb. 19, 1901 June 29, 1983

A native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, mostly spent in Lynn, Indiana. He and his wife Bessie Marie (Werts) Hardwick celebrated their 62 wedding anniversary on September 3, 1982. He attended the Huntsville school. He worked as an auto mechanic in Winchester, Indiana serving as Service Manager of the Buick Agency then at Carpenter Auto Supply where he retired in 1963. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Donald Butler Hardwick of Richmond,Indiana, and Phillip Dean Hardwick of Melrose, Florida, two daughters, Betty Ellen Bales of Lynn, Indiana and Vivian Marie Bowen of Corpus Christi, Texas; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Services were at Spartanburg United Methodist Church and burial at the Huntsville cemetery.
